EARTHEN NEWS / UPDATES

We've just returned from the Flight of the Valkyries Festival in St. Paul, MN. We had a great time and would like to thank everyone who attended, especially Nathan and Swordlord Productions for including us in the festivities. Hails to Doro, she was in top shape and sounded better then ever. Also hello to the Ottoman Empire, you guys had a great set!
We are rehersing more steady at this tiime and will be able to offer a much stronger, lengthier set at our next performance, which Im happy to announce will be once again @ Station 4, in St. Paul w/ Finntroll, on Sept 29th. We are working on an all ages show at the Pearl Room in Mokena on a Sun in late August. When that's finalized it will be posted.
We are also nearing completion of our first full length effort. Im quite sure the title will be "The Ashes of Transition". Theres a few finishing touches to be done the 4th & 5th of August, then we mix the 24th, 25th, & 26th. I am very excited about finishing this up. It's a new thing for me and I think the end result will be something special. Id also like to say that we've had many guest vocal appearances which will make it worth listening to alone. Id like to thank The General (Usurper), Paul Kuhr (Nov. Doom), Zion (Disinter), for their help. A few others have been invited and may make an appearance by the end of the recording. If your into the celtic folky viking metal, you should find something in this that grabs you. Its very textured and organic sounding, very heavy at times. There should be about 10-12 trax...

And unfortunately at this time I'm seeking a few new members. We are auditioning for a violinist, keyboardist, lead guitarist electric/acoustic, and possibly a bassist. Id like to thank Meg, Evan, Bryan and Dino for everything they've done or contributed to, for the project. It has been a pleasure and an honour to have worked with such talented musician's. They will be missed, but Id like to keep this going. So I'm looking for some new blood, we require 1-2 rehersal days a week, professional attitude and gear. We have a jam spot @ 355 & North ave.
